There are several different reason that one may want to go to a holistic lifestyle. Whether it is for health reasons, you may need to get rid of stress, or potentially lose those few extra pounds to get to your goal weight. There is also for spiritual reasons. You may want to clear your mind which then you'd go meditate. Well, the holistic fair in Otsiningo Park was able to provide that and so so much more! I have always loved the holistic approach to many things. One of those things is gems and crystals.
Gems and crystals have always been a HUGE part of what my life is like. My grandfather was a miner. He mined tourmaline in Maine, Garnet and Herkimer Diamonds (before the Herkimer Diamond mines were open to the public) in New York. My mother is an earth science teacher. With my mom I assisted with her final senior project in college. She also ended up taking both my brother and I to classes with her. It was amazing. I have to say though, the presentation that I saw from Good Vibrations; crystals & more, blew me away. Like I said I have always been a huge fan of gems, minerals, crystals and they had a ton! It was organized, if you asked what crystal it was they were able to give you that answer, they were all decently priced, just overall so amazing. Thing is, they do more than just the gems, minerals, and crystals. They also do jewelry, they provide smudging accessories, custom apparel, and if you go to their site, they will show you even more. Crystals, Minerals, and Gems are also considered to have metaphysical properties. Metaphysical properties are ways an object, such as crystals, can assist and/or help an individual in certain aspects of their life such as love (rose quartz), grounding or focus (clear quartz or selenite), and much more. What is reiki? Reiki is a technique in Japanese Culture that helps with stress reduction and relaxation to help assist with healing. Reiki can be used to resolve certain aspects that the client would like to improve or you can go to get your chakra I ran into or I should say walked up to (hahaha) a tent that had so many different things. There are 7 major chakras, there's the crown, third eye, throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral, and root chakra.
Root chakra
The root chakra, or Muladhara, is located at the base of your spine. It provides you with a base or foundation for life, and it helps you feel grounded and able to withstand challenges. Your root chakra is responsible for your sense of security and stability.
Sacral chakra
The sacral chakra, or Svadhisthana, is located just below your belly button. This chakra is responsible for your sexual and creative energy. It’s also linked to how you relate to your emotions as well as the emotions of others.
Solar plexus chakra
The solar plexus chakra, or Manipura, is located in your stomach area. It’s responsible for confidence and self-esteem, as well as helping you feel in control of your life.
Heart chakra
The heart chakra, or Anahata, is located near your heart, in the center of your chest. It comes as no surprise that the heart chakra is all about our ability to love and show compassion.
Throat chakra
The throat chakra, or Vishuddha, is located in your throat. This chakra has to do with our ability to communicate verbally.
Third eye chakra
The third eye chakra, or Ajna, is located between your eyes. You can thank this chakra for a strong gut instinct. That’s because the third eye is responsible for intuition. It’s also linked to imagination.
Crown chakra
The crown chakra, or Sahasrara, is located at the top of your head. Your Sahasrara represents your spiritual connection to yourself, others, and the universe. It also plays a role in your life’s purpose.

However, one thing that this vendor (Crystalline Concepts) has done has put them all together. Michele Covert is a Reiki/Crystal Reiki Master. This means that she uses the metaphysical properties of crystals to assist in reiki. Some examples are clear quartz, used to balance the entire auric field. Amethyst, for balancing and opening the crown chakra and third eye chakra. Then there is citrine, used to balance the solar plexus chakra and to bring joy into the energy system. So you see, there is so much more than what meets the eye.
Speaking of more than what meets the eye, when I came up to Arguably Artistic I immediately had a really good feeling. Let me start by saying everyone has their own thing to believe in. So much so, that I truly enjoyed the conversation that we had. One of my favorite things at her tent was the sleeping buddies. One was Snorlax and another Totoro. Two of my absolute favorite anime types. She also makes spell jars. How ironic that I have been actually speaking with someone regarding these lately. She makes these spell jars for several different things such as protection, lust, love, peace, the chakras, and these are just a small batch of that she carries! I absolutely would recommend as the intention is there and you could tell just by the energy and vibe they gave off. You might be asking, what exactly is in a spell jar? The ingredients are really quite simple (sometimes). Salt, crystals, dirt, and even tea can be used to make said jars. On the topic of tea, I learned something new and honestly so exciting that I may just have to excuse myself to make a cup.
Oh. My. God/Gods/Goddesses let me tell you, I met these two phenomenal individuals at the right time. I have never felt so drawn to someone's vendor table before and I am so so glad that I was! They made this brewing business for tea and let me tell you...they got Me To a Tea. See what I did there? (hahaha) Their business, Me to a Tea, is all about drinking tea with intention. They want to be able to bring back the ceremonial meaning to tea like in countries such as China and India. I love that concept. To be able to meditate and set intentions with tea is such a harmonious way to start or end a day. So, between setting intentions through tea and intensifying them with intentions through crystals metaphysical properties, there was no need to discuss and just add them. After reading some of the reviews, little did I know that there are actually crystals INSIDE the tea bags themselves. They also have little tea balls with crystals on the outside. Just whatever intention you have, make sure it is a positive one. We don't want any bad juju getting out there. The universe already has enough on it's plate. Speaking of plates...

Her husband does all the woodworking and let me just say, it is PHENOMENAL! Woodworking is one hell of a talent to possess. My cousin does a lot of wood working and I can't even fathom the amount of time and effort goes into each and every piece. Let's not mention the designs that go into these product! There is so much detail and it's absolutely breathtaking. I gotta say, I have attempted this in the past and was unsuccessful and she makes it look SO easy! She is always coming out with new items. There was shelving that I so desperately wanted to display my many gems, minerals, and crystals, but new mom life has me just not able to get them. But they were decently priced where if I had a full paycheck and not too many bills to pay (gotta love adulting) I would have scooped it up in a second.
The fact that I almost didn't attend is insane to me. It's as if they all drew me there and it was 110% worth it. There are other businesses that I will be making another post on because I just had sooooo many vendors that I saw and spoke with. I cannot wait until the next one, that's for sure.
