Hey all! Welcome to Wake, Bake, & Make!
Wake, Bake, and Make is a few different things all combined into one. Hence the topic of this blog of Blog, Baking, and Crafting.
This includes a blog that will range anywhere from motherhood, events, current events, and more. As I am a new mom to an amazing little boy, I will share my tips, tricks, and even talk about who has helped and what items have worked best for our little guy and my other mom friends. Regarding events, it will mostly be localized events. I live in the Southern Tier of New York State so you'll see events and topics from the surrounding area. There will also be travel blogs as we try to travel as often as possible.
Bake is going to be primarily recipes for baked goods and other cooking excursions and on occasion topics on other baking as well. I found that on maternity leave that I have gotten so much more in touch with my cooking and baking side. I suppose that is because I will have to cook and bake for the little guy more often in the future. I have made AMAZING dinners and desserts to the extent that people are asking for recipes which I never expected.
Make is just that! Things that are being made whether it is products made from the cricut, procreate, photography, and again much more. I have made tumblers, epoxy items, currently working on sticker designs, and more. I used to reside at the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City at Gifts and Giggles Galore before heading to Men's Wearhouse full time. I will be returning in July, but only part time to ensure that I am with the little guy. I am unsure about daycare, so eventually there will be a post regarding that. The goal is to get my small business back up and running to make an inflow of cash in those means.
Being said, my name is Gwen McAuliffe. I am a 30 year old mom and I am extremely excited to start this chapter in my life and to share it with you all!
